What Your Kids Learned This Weekend (Feb 2/3)

Birth - Kindergarten This week's Bible story was in Luke 15:3-7. Motivated by love, a shepherd leaves his herd of sheep to go find one that is missing. He rejoices when he finds his lost sheep. Jesus loves us even more than the shepherd loved his sheep. Our memory verse for the month is “…How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” – Ephesians 3:18 (NIV) --- Grades 1 - 6 This week's Bible story was in Genesis 26:16-22. Isaac settles in his father’s land and reopens some wells. When his new neighbors argue with him, he simply moves to a new place and digs new wells. Our Bottom Line is: prove you care about others by walking away from a fight. Our memory verse for the month is “Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” – Romans 14:19 (NIV) Click here for more.
