This weekend was our first weekend at our new site at Sitting Bull Middle School. Here's some pictures of all the fun:

Basic Truth: God made me.
Key Question: What does God love about you?
Bottom Line: God loves everything about me!
Memory Verse: “I am wonderfully made." - Psalm 139:14 (NIV)

This week our Bible Lesson was out of Genesis 1:26-27.  We talked about how God made my body. The very first body He made was Adam’s and He made it out of dirt.  While driving around town this month, point out all the things that God made - the trees, the flowers, the sun. Then, ask your child, “Who did God make?” and have him respond with “ME!!!” Each time you climb in and out of the car, encourage your child to look in the review mirror and say, “God made me!” This month’s song, “God Made Me...SPECIAL!,” and the May Bible stories are available from www.amberskyrecords.com.

Beach House
Grades 1 - 6
Virtue: Patience - Waiting until later for what you want now.
Memory Verse: “The end of a matter is better than it’s beginning. It’s better to be patient than proud.” - Ecclesiastes 7:8 (NIV)
Bible Story: The Golden Calf (Exodus 19:2-8; 32:1-7, 15-24, 30-34)
Bottom Line: Don't get tired of doing good.

This weekend in Beach House we went to a story that takes place when the Israelites are at the foot of Mount Sinai. Instead of obeying God and waiting for Moses to come down off the mountain, the entire nation of Israel grew impatient. They built a golden calf and began to worship it instead of worshiping God. And because of their lack of patience, God judged an entire nation.
