1) What is a Hang Ten Group?
Hang 10 Groups are small groups for children 4yrs – 6th Grade at the Victorville Campus. A group of 8 – 10 similarly-aged children are assigned a leader who will mentor them throughout the year. In order for your child to benefit fully from their Hang Ten Group they will need to attend the same service each weekend. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a fun event with their Hang 10 Group. Events include skating, bowling, etc.
2) What happens in a Hang Ten Group?
Children learn to apply Biblical truth in their everyday lives through hands-on activities, games, scripture memory, and much more. Children experience spiritual community as they build relationships with other children and their leader. Children experience God's grace and love through prayer, affirmation, and encouragement.
3) When do Hang Ten Groups Meet?
They meet during your child’s weekend service from: September 8/9, 2012 - May 25/26, 2013.
4) What about Hang Ten Group Leaders?
Your child's Hang Ten Group leader goes through an extensive process before being approved. The process includes interviews, background checks, reference calls, orientation, and training. Only approved leaders are allowed to lead Hang Ten Groups.
