5 Ways People Pleasing Can Undercut Your Parenting


I recently read an article that I found to be insightful and made me think outside the box.  I always knew “people pleasing” has its pros and cons. However after reading an article by Carey Nieuwhof, I didn’t realize that “people pleasing” could affect my parenting.  I know I have a tendency to “people please,” but the fact is that when I cave in and give my kids what they want; I’m establishing a false sense of security.  I am creating an environment that says, “My kids know what’s best for them,” even though they have no concept of what is actually best for them.  Click here to read Carey’s article, “5 Ways People Pleasing Can Undercut Your Parenting.”
