When I was six, I lost the most important man in my life, my grandpa. He was murdered! Shortly after my mom and dad divorced. I slowly started hanging out with the wrong crowd and started doing horrible things. I've always believed that there was a God and I believe that he sent his one and only Son to die on the cross, but I never wanted to change. I would go to church with my family, but once it was over, I would go back to doing the same old things. One day, I was on Instagram and I saw a verse that someone had posted. (Even the darkness isn't dark to you. Psalm 139:12) It hit me right then, I knew I needed a savior and needed to be forgiven. Then I started to pray and ask Jesus to change my life. I am reminded of Psalm 25:7, "Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good."
